emories of camp... Enjoying the aroma of a burning campfire, licking the marshmallow from between graham crackers and gazing up at the stars from a sleeping bag.
Many of us can look back on our own childhood and remember how a camp experience helped shape our lives, created lasting friendships and instilled an appreciation for the great outdoors.
When the Outdoor Education Center breaks ground, many Orange County kids will be able to share the same experiences right in their own backyard. Located near Irvine Regional Park, these 210 acre will serve as the gateway to the great outdoors for youth groups, organizations, schools, families and Scouting programs.
The Outdoor Education Center will meet a long-standing need
in the community for kids to experience nature's playground in
their own backyard.
